A guided space for reflection

These journaling sessions are designed to help you make sense of what you’re thinking, feeling, and moving through.

Each session is centered around a theme and facilitated using therapeutic writing practices — offering you structure, clarity, and space to reflect at your own pace.

You’ll be guided through a series of exercises, with moments of silence for writing and optional sharing at the end.

Hello, I'm Ana Juma

I’m a certified journaling facilitator. I support people in cultivating more calm and clarity through a journaling practice that feels approachable, meaningful, and sustainable.

My work is rooted in the belief (and research) that writing helps us understand ourselves more deeply. Through a blend of structure, reflection, and guided practices, I create spaces that support clarity, emotional processing, and self-connection.

While free writing can be a powerful starting point, journaling goes far beyond simply emptying your mind onto the page.

There is a rich body of techniques, grounded in decades of therapeutic and expressive writing, that show how journaling can deepen self-understanding and support meaningful inner change.

I believe each journaling practice is as unique as the person holding the pen. My approach honors that — evolving with you over time, shaping who you’re becoming, and gently influencing every area of your life.

Meet Ana Juma, your journaling guide

Ana Juma is the author of Back to Earth and the founder of Prophsee, an independent book publishing house that brings together a community of creative minds to express themselves through journaling experiences.

Keeping a diary from a tender age has encouraged Juma to explore writing as a vehicle of self-discovery, expression, and healing. What started as a tool to make sense of her own emotional whirlwinds has become her full-time mission – finding her unique answers on paper and inviting people to do the same.

Today, she lives in her hometown Lisbon writing stories out of everyday moments and creating the journaling tools you find here and at Prophsee.
