Journaling Sessions

Monthly journaling sessions to support you in starting or deepening your practice

In a world that moves fast and pulls us outward, these sessions are an invitation to turn inward — to pause, listen, and explore your inner landscape in the privacy of your journal.

A shared, yet personal experience

While journaling is a deeply personal practice, writing alongside others brings out our shared humanity. For centuries, people have gathered in shared spaces to pause, reflect, and make sense of their inner world. These journaling sessions offer a modern way to return to that — a quiet space to turn inward, while being held in the presence of others.

A guided space for reflection

These journaling sessions are designed to help you make sense of what you’re thinking, feeling, and moving through. Each session is centered around a theme and facilitated using therapeutic writing techniques — offering you structure, clarity, and space to reflect at your own pace.

You’ll be guided through a series of exercises, with moments of silence for writing and optional sharing at the end.

The Experience

Come as you are. Whether you choose to participate actively or stay on the sidelines with your camera off, take this as your calm moment for introspection.

A 90-minute guided journaling experience designed to bring you calm and clarity

A different theme for each session, offering a new lens for reflection into your inner world

Quiet, uninterrupted time for writing, allowing your thoughts and insights to unfold naturally

Optional sharing in a safe space, if you wish to connect and be witnessed in your experience

About Ana Juma

I support people in cultivating more calm and clarity through a journaling practice that feels approachable, meaningful, and sustainable.

My work is rooted in the belief (and research) that writing helps us understand ourselves more deeply. Through a blend of structure, reflection, and guided practices, I create spaces that support clarity, emotional processing, and self-connection. While free writing can be a powerful starting point, journaling goes far beyond simply emptying your mind onto the page.

There is a rich body of techniques, grounded in decades of therapeutic and expressive writing, that show how journaling can deepen self-understanding and support meaningful inner change.

I believe each journaling practice is as unique as the person holding the pen. My approach honors that — evolving with you over time, shaping who you’re becoming, and gently influencing every area of your life.
